basecamp
Trip: Mt Hood - S Side Date: 7/15/2007 Trip Report: The route is pretty much done for the year. Every day brings more exposed rock and a increasing danger. Cancel your trip here and go to the N Cascades!
goatboy
Ahh, if only all TR's could be this concise....and precise....and useful! But maybe instead of heading the North Cascades, everyone should consider going to California...or Idaho....or maybe Ohio???

barkernews
Hey, how was the summit around say 10am Sunday? I could see a nasty looking lenticular form from the top of Adams... and an hour later it turned to poo up there too: A windy white out nastiness. icedancer1
Hey, how was the summit around say 10am Sunday? I could see a nasty looking lenticular form from the top of Adams... and an hour later it turned to poo up there too: A windy white out nastiness. By 10am, the clouds above the summit had been drawn into a lenticular. This was taken just before. Don't think anyone was still hanging out up there. Mt Hood has seen significant melt out in the last few weeks.
