I am looking for a few people (1-2 ropes - likely from Bay Area) who would like to travel and climb the Cascades together over 2-3 weeks in June or July. I am also planning to shoot videos during that trip and post it online (e.g. youtube). If so I would like you to sign a release form giving me rights to use and publish this footage. I will give you edited version of the challenges on DVDs, of course.

I will be leaving from San Francisco and, hopefully, climb Shasta (Whitney, Boolam, or Hotlum), Adams (Adams), Rainier (Kautz or Fuhrer) and other glaciated peaks such as Jefferson and Baker. Mostly it would involve grade II-III or perhaps IV. Some of the routes (e.g. Rainier) I want to climb to the top with all gear and "camp on the summit." Most of the climbing would be done during the daylight, not at night.

As of my experience, I've been climbing for some time and am very comfortable in leading and soloing glaciers and not too steep ice (40-60). I also have some frozen waterfalls experience but avoid rock climbing. Bad weather, however, is something I get excited about. During this trip I would most likely climb without rope (for video shooting flexibility), so you don't really have to wary about my skills.

About the video: I love mountaineering and photography. "Making movies" is my new passion. I am hoping to get some footage that would show the challenges and rewords of mountaineering. For instance, not every trip goes as planned; sometimes unfavorable weather strikes unexpectedly. If such happens, I would like to document the mental and physical straggle of climbers fighting with obstacles and the employment of their survival skills. Usually two-three weeks in the Cascades is enough to meet such weather conditions.
