WELCOME TO THE CASCADECLIMBERS.COM FORUMS   02/03/18

We have upgraded to new forum software as of late last year, and it makes everything here so much better!  It is now much easier to do pretty much anything, including write Trip Reports, sell gear, schedule climbing related events, and more. There is a new reputation system that allows for positive contributors to be recognized,  it is possible to tag content with identifiers, drag and drop in images, and it is much easier to embed multimedia content from Youtube, Vimeo, and more.  In all, the site is much more user friendly, bug free, and feature rich!   Whether you're a new user or a grizzled cascadeclimbers.com veteran, we think you'll love the new forums. Enjoy!

WTB: Mountaineering Boots

Recommended Posts

I'm looking for a pair of midweight boots that can take step-in crampons. A size 12 would be perfect, but I can flex a little depending on the boot and price. Please let me know if you have anything. Thanks.

Don't compromise fit just because you can get a good price. One blister can ruin the entire climb.

Try 2nd Ascent in Seattle for a good selection of used boots.

You're absolutely right about that. Not quite sure what I was thinking. The plan is to head down to 2nd Ascent in a couple of day. Just thought I'd see if anyone here had something to offer first.

I have a pair of La Sportiva Nepals I am trying to sell. They are size 13, the footbed is a little narrow so if you have narrow feet they might work. I am in Bellingham, if would like to try them on let me know. I am selling them for $140, that is flexible though.

I have a pair of Sportiva Karakorams in good shape. Size 45.5. or 11.5-12. Yours for $50 plus freight.
