lazyclimber Posted February 5, 2007 Share Posted February 5, 2007 Just broke in my new Venom hammer this last weekend and was impressed with the results. Great tool as a 2nd. It comes with BD's lockdown leash already attached and I found the leash easy to use and comfortable (all this considering the price of the Venom, $124.95'ish) The head swung well and balanced and stuck in the ice and snow great. TREETOAD Posted February 6, 2007 Share Posted February 6, 2007 I have these tools and like them except that I find when you plunge the shaft into the snow to the head and put weight on it the axe twists because of the curve.
