johndavidjr
What is best most obscure peak goal in Olympics EXCLUDING all general areas visible from Puget Soud & P.A. Also exclude Olympus massive, Bailey Range and Valhallas. I'm strongly interested, though also am but a dumb troll in his winter armchair.. & many of the truly dedicated ought not or can't reveal their secrets.... Edit PS. Areas excluded because they are comparatively obvious and/or recently documented. I'm looking for opinions, both informed & speculative. olyclimber
i bet klenke would know the bestest most obscure peak having the most fun. it would have to do with prominence, aesthetics, or whatever your deciding factor is. it seems you've already excluded all the best parts. Stefan
Not terribly far from a trail, but a whole lotta miles from a road....but still in the Bailey Range area....I don't know if they are "officially" in the Bailey Range. My vote is for Mt. Barnes. or peak 6130. Peak 6130T Edited February 9, 2007 by Stefan

mtn_mouse
Burke range. Somewhere west of Mt Anderson, and east of Mt Christie. Chimney peak area. Long trail access from the elwha, difficult access from the quinault. Been there and seen sign of no one.

Animal
Lets go with Mt Norton 6,319 ft. It is on the Olympic National Park Map you get when you drive in the park, but I have never herd anyone talk about it!
