In the process of shopping around and researching I thought "Why don't I just buy one helmet that would work for both rock climbing and ski/snowboarding?". After this decision I found out that they are all rated for different impacts. ex. climbing helmets rated for being hit from above and ski/snowboarding helmets for side impact. Does anybody know of any helmet that is rated for both? What do extreme ski/snowboarders who climb to ski back down wear? climbing helmets or ski/snowboard helmets? Thanks for any input.
