Posted December 28, 2006 Share Posted December 28, 2006 it's because my nails are too long. every once in a while my nails start to get a little long. initially i enjoy the increased ability long nails have for pulling buggers out of your nose, escpecially if they're way up there. but then i start picking my nose too aggressively and scratching spots. guess i'll have to break down and clip my nails. This dries out the inside of my nose, and I end up peeling off mucus membrane with the boogers. The resulting blood clots just makes things worse.
