BillA
I've climbed in Chamonix during the summer when it's easy to camp, but would like to spend an extended period of time (3+ months) there during the winter. Anyone have any suggestions on places to stay? Would it be possible/reasonable to rent a shitty apartment somewhere in the valley? We'd be trying to do it as cheaply as possible, obviously. cj001f
The information is a tad dated though. Call/email the tourist office - they'll have a listing (and in the smaller towns will have some on the sly cheapo properties)
TobinJourdan
Would be waaay cheaper to live slightly out of Cham if you had transport. Or meet a furry French girl. Donnez moi etet!
