high_on_rock
I will be down there from about thursday through sometime in the next week. I have a partner, but you can always join us. Look for a red miata with a black top at the campground, or let me know if you are interested and I will PM you my cell number. E
genepires
just a little advice. highs are 70 degress this weekend. (in vegas!) But it could get cold real quick. Have a south facing rock list backup if this happens. Most of the canyons are shady for most of the day. Here is a little list of possible cold day climbs: most of the pullout areas olive oil if you start between 9am and 11am. shade follows up solar slab climbs cat n hat brass wall is a great cold weather area. dark rock absorbs light! and there are others that others will suggest. (Jason speak up!) but it seems like most people's tick list all contain shady climbs. just something to think about.
sill
Sport climbing at the pullouts is pretty much perfect right now, canyons are definately chilly but doable if ya take enough warm clothes to wear while yer belaying.
willstrickland
Come on down to Josh instead, I'll climb with ya. It's perfect right now, highs in the mid to upper 70s and none of that freezing in the canyons foolishness.
lancegranite
Yeah sill... I heard some guy went to the canyons with just a t-shirt! His partner had to lend him a jacket! What a colorado chimp!
