WELCOME TO THE CASCADECLIMBERS.COM FORUMS   02/03/18

We have upgraded to new forum software as of late last year, and it makes everything here so much better!  It is now much easier to do pretty much anything, including write Trip Reports, sell gear, schedule climbing related events, and more. There is a new reputation system that allows for positive contributors to be recognized,  it is possible to tag content with identifiers, drag and drop in images, and it is much easier to embed multimedia content from Youtube, Vimeo, and more.  In all, the site is much more user friendly, bug free, and feature rich!   Whether you're a new user or a grizzled cascadeclimbers.com veteran, we think you'll love the new forums. Enjoy!

Wayne, the pics are a little small. Maybe 700 pixels would be better? Really a great feat. I'm thinking Mike Swayne's photo got you thining about it but there is nothing like staring right at it from Spectre and planning the attack while climbing another unclimbed route in the Pickets. Pretty classic.

It seems the bees provided the biggest objective hazard, I see the nicely placed sting wink.gif

Good job Wayne, congratulations. I can't wait to see more of your pictures sometime soon.

Good Stuff Wayne! So what made you decide to go it alone and not get a strong back or two to help carry in? I was pretty pumped after Colins slide show also! bigdrink.gif

Good Question, I really tried to find someone but ran out of time, The concrete strike ended fri and I was late getting back the next monday from the trip. My boss was pissed. I dont mind going solo. It intensifies the experience. I almost always prefer to partner up.

I finished the tr, btw

Nice work Wayne! Here is a photo of the Pickets at sunrise on the morning you were finishing the ridge, taken from Luna. Great to run into you on the way out.
