We have upgraded to new forum software as of late last year, and it makes everything here so much better!  It is now much easier to do pretty much anything, including write Trip Reports, sell gear, schedule climbing related events, and more. There is a new reputation system that allows for positive contributors to be recognized,  it is possible to tag content with identifiers, drag and drop in images, and it is much easier to embed multimedia content from Youtube, Vimeo, and more.  In all, the site is much more user friendly, bug free, and feature rich!   Whether you're a new user or a grizzled cascadeclimbers.com veteran, we think you'll love the new forums. Enjoy!

Fall Ropeup Plans

I vote that one of the kegs be rolled 200 yards west to the classic crack- eightmilerock hangout by the river Saturday night. Anyone opposed? Who's the biggest dude on this site? Carry the keg down!

Still looking for some people to bring up tarps and two big garbage cans for icing down the kegs.

Also, to recap the slideshow lineup on Saturday night (starting a little after dusk or so)

Slide show is on Saturday night a little after dusk:

->Tony Bentley will show videos of he, Sky, and Ross skiing and climbing.

->Erik Wolfe will show pictures of his climb of Plan 9 with Mike Layton

->Blake Herrington will show pictues of his time climbing in New Zealand

->Wayne Wallace will show pictures of his latest solo first ascent of the West Ridge of Fury

->Colin Haley will show pictures of his climb in Alaska of Mt Moffit

Its a great line up, and you can help us deal with the over abundance of great beer too. And don't forget to bring some money to throw in for Kurt. Even if you can't make it up during the day for some climbing, you are welcome to stop by the party both Friday and Saturday night.

Thanks people. Each one of you are special and unique. Yes you are.

Sorry you won't make it, Kurt. If you change your mind, let me know. I'll pick you up.
