Date of Climb: 6/17/2006 Trip Report: Jeff and myself headed out Sat. to attempt "The Nun". We loaded up with two ropes (the Climber's Guide mentions a 120' rap)and limited climbing gear. At the base of the Nun it started pouring so we headed toward April summiting around 1:00 pm. The snow was in good shape, the visibility was sketchy, the rain was non-stop. My "Carl Lewis" sprint from a rattler at Tieton nickname seems to have stuck. I just posted a pic in the gallery taken from the 4900' level. This may be Destroyer.
