WELCOME TO THE CASCADECLIMBERS.COM FORUMS   02/03/18

We have upgraded to new forum software as of late last year, and it makes everything here so much better!  It is now much easier to do pretty much anything, including write Trip Reports, sell gear, schedule climbing related events, and more. There is a new reputation system that allows for positive contributors to be recognized,  it is possible to tag content with identifiers, drag and drop in images, and it is much easier to embed multimedia content from Youtube, Vimeo, and more.  In all, the site is much more user friendly, bug free, and feature rich!   Whether you're a new user or a grizzled cascadeclimbers.com veteran, we think you'll love the new forums. Enjoy!

Goat Rocks, any snow level update?

Recommended Posts

I would think you could definitely get to the Berry Patch trailhead at 4600 feet. I haven't seen any posts anywhere from the area since being there myself in late April. North of Mt Jefferson last weekend we were able to take a forest road until about 5000 feet where a 3 foot or so patch of snow still lingered. Depending on where you start you will probably be making your own route once you hit snow on the trail. Have fun!

I called yesterday (6-13). They did not have a current update, but the 21 road is open, and 2150 still has up to 2 feet of snow on it. Snow levels were at 3800 feet as of 6-6.

I am calling again tomorrow for an update.

Did you get up there this last week, and if so, how was it? I've always had a great time when I've been there.
