We have upgraded to new forum software as of late last year, and it makes everything here so much better!  It is now much easier to do pretty much anything, including write Trip Reports, sell gear, schedule climbing related events, and more. There is a new reputation system that allows for positive contributors to be recognized,  it is possible to tag content with identifiers, drag and drop in images, and it is much easier to embed multimedia content from Youtube, Vimeo, and more.  In all, the site is much more user friendly, bug free, and feature rich!   Whether you're a new user or a grizzled cascadeclimbers.com veteran, we think you'll love the new forums. Enjoy!

New to the area, getting back into climbing

Recommended Posts

Hi I just moved here in september ago and wanted to get back into climbing. At one point i used to live in the yosemite area but I havent climbed in about 5 years or so but was doing 5.10, I mainly climbed slab/friction some sport and trad. I guessing I can only do about 5.8 or so right now. Locally I want to get into sport and whatever else is around and really want to get in to more alpine type stuff plus do some volcanos. I have a truck and a rope and some other gear and live in Capitol Hill. Also i was a licenced EMT,work in helthcare and workign on getting an RN I would be greatly thankful. I am also male, 27, and off work tues. wed. and thurs.
