yeah, but with metric time one minute is 10 seconds and one hour is only 10 minutes so it evens out to still be pretty fast.

Metric Time = Same as Standard. the second is a base unite.

Decimal Time (sometimes called metric time, generally meaning French Revolution Time) = 10 hrs day/ 100 an hour/100 seconds a minute.

for you yobs who've never been out of the country, let alone out of the county, not everyone uses the decimal point in the same way (if you'd ever been to europe, you'd know that). that's 49.441 km thus, he did about 30.7 miles in one hour.
