Well, I usually start with a traverse from Mount Vancouver, along the coast, past Furry Creek, and then climb the crack to the top.

Start in Mt. Seattle and do the I-5 traverse through Mt Everett, Mount Vernon, and Mt Bellingham. The crux move comes when crossing the scarry border pitch.... hahaha.gif

You guys are confusing me. I may be planning a trip out there to climb Mount Rainier and maybe I can climb this mountain near Squamish too. Send me a message if you would seriously climb there with me. No jokes! It looks really cool from the pictures. Thanks to Bill for posting them.

Be nice to Chaps.

Dude, you take Deidre and let people climb through. But you have to earn your way. Before you go to Monolith Sqamich, you should go to Snow Creek here in WA (we are on the way anyhow) and lead Outer Space (refer to appropriate thread for beta).

Take your time and enjoy yourself--that's what its all about.

Ok I'll be nice.

Before you climb a route on Stawamus Chief you probably want to hang out at Smoke bluffs or some of the smaller craggs. What I do know about climbing in Minnesota is there isn't much in the way of crack climbing or multi pitch climbing. You'll need to work on both of those.
