What's your planned route on the peak and approach? How long in the area? There's a number of climbs I'd like to do in that area of the range - one a five to six pitch ice/mixed. What's your planned route on the peak and approach? The access isn't that bad, and it's not that remote.. Just pack very light, and wear goretex trail running shoes.. nordicpunk Posted April 29, 2005 Share Posted April 29, 2005 If you enter on the Glacier Trail, you will want some sturdy boots instead of shoes. The trail is rough in spots and about 25miles to Wilson Meadows. it takes a toll on the feet. There are other ways in, of course, but this is the best route for the North face- which I recomend.
