The_North_Face Posted November 11, 2002 Share Posted November 11, 2002 Film: SKIING THE ANTARCTIC PENINSULA Join Hans Saari, Jon Griber, Doug Stoup, Kris Erickson and Rick Armstrong as they journey to ski and explore the earth's most remote continent _ ANTARCTICA. On their journey they will travel aboard a Russian scientific ice breaker across the infamously dangerous icy waters of the South Atlantic Oceans - Drake Passage enroute to a region of unskied and unclimbed peaks abounding with wildlife and adventure. Follow their journey through the fjords and channel as they make first ski and snowboard descents of 55 degree peaks. The movie is 42 minutes in length and is followed by a short video montage of Hans Saari's life. Rick Armstrong, North Face skier, will be presenting the film.
