I have climbed 1200m of ice (and snow) in the last 2 weeks [big Grin] Calf workouts.

There were some short Rockies style icefalls formed up there too on melt from snow patches. Bet they are buried under freshiez now. Chilliwatts has freshiez to 4500' today.

I wouldn't say it was "all frozen over"; there was ice on the edges of the streams and thin ice on some of the lakes. Cavey, the outfall of Vivianne was flowing and had ice forming on the sides. Coming down off of Asgaard (shitty chosspile) there were some flows forming up, but still running with water underneath.

The thin low angle flow coming down off Asgard is plenty fat enough to climb. it'd be about 600ft of grade two ice...have at it mounties! Don't forget to wear your gaiters over your long underwear under your shorts...and bring many pickets!

Whats the matter greg, have a hard time following the trail down Asgard? maybe we should all pitch in to make those carins bigger [Roll Eyes]
