scrambled_legs
Just wondering what the best guide is for Squamish.
Bogen
The Bourdon/Tasaka "Squamish select" guide has less routes and more details than the McLane. McLane's has more stuff and less detail, and must be supplemented with "Whistler Rockclimbs" to get the sport stuff north of Squamish. Bogen
I was trying to be objective, but yeah, Dru's right. Â One guy I know says the McLane is for old fogeys, and 'select' is way more in tune with the times. Obviously some people like it, but then again some people think there's dodo birds in heaven... thelawgoddess
if you only get one, i would recommend mclane's. otherwise, get both. :-)
