If you want to understand why Democrats keep losing elections, just listen to some coastal and university town liberals talk about how conformist and intolerant people in Red America are. JoshK Posted November 7, 2004 Share Posted November 7, 2004 Yes, and as soon as two thing happen, the democrats will return to power:  1.)The figure out how to campaign against stop-at-noghting ugly campaining republicans  2.)The public reaizes the country is continuing it's downhill slide, and no amount of talk about 9/11 or terrorism matters any more.  It's a cycle...one side fucks it up, then it goes to the other, so on and so forth...  This election proves that scare tactics do work.
