WELCOME TO THE CASCADECLIMBERS.COM FORUMS   02/03/18

We have upgraded to new forum software as of late last year, and it makes everything here so much better!  It is now much easier to do pretty much anything, including write Trip Reports, sell gear, schedule climbing related events, and more. There is a new reputation system that allows for positive contributors to be recognized,  it is possible to tag content with identifiers, drag and drop in images, and it is much easier to embed multimedia content from Youtube, Vimeo, and more.  In all, the site is much more user friendly, bug free, and feature rich!   Whether you're a new user or a grizzled cascadeclimbers.com veteran, we think you'll love the new forums. Enjoy!

Aconcagua in December

Recommended Posts

Thinking of the Normal Route this December and looking for a partner. Have summitted Denali via the West Buttress, Kilimanjaro, Ishinca (5530 meters, Peru), and the WA volcanoes. Please PM if interested.

Just confirmed a flight to Buenos Aires, leaving Seattle December 5, arriving BA on the morning of December 6. As it now stands, the plan is to check out BA for a few days then either fly or take a ~14 hour bus ride to Mendoza. Estimate 2 weeks to climb RT from Mendoza, +/- depending on weather, etc. Planning to stay for a couple of weeks after the climb, leaving from Santiago January 8, arriving Seattle around noon January 9. I've resigned myself to soloing but give a shout if anyone is interested.
