Or should I carry in a couple of tools? We were planning to wear low cuts to the glacier and carry our boots in. From then on we'll wear boots and cramps until we return to the Glacier Meadows. Source: UW glaciologist who was manning the IGY hut below Panic Peak in 1981. Those guys used to give free Kool-Aid to climbers...along with some good mountain trivia!
