We have upgraded to new forum software as of late last year, and it makes everything here so much better!  It is now much easier to do pretty much anything, including write Trip Reports, sell gear, schedule climbing related events, and more. There is a new reputation system that allows for positive contributors to be recognized,  it is possible to tag content with identifiers, drag and drop in images, and it is much easier to embed multimedia content from Youtube, Vimeo, and more.  In all, the site is much more user friendly, bug free, and feature rich!   Whether you're a new user or a grizzled cascadeclimbers.com veteran, we think you'll love the new forums. Enjoy!

I am looking for advice on a good route up rainer for a couple novice's. My partner has been up D.C. once, but there are more mountains in the state that we have climbed together. I have been up D.C. 3 times, once up the emmons, and once up the Kautz Glacier route.

I was thinking about the Fuhrer, or either the Kautz or Succes clevers, has anyone seen what kind of shape they are in, or have any advice on what kind of climbing can be encountered?

We have the 11th 12th and the 13th, but I would like to only use two days. thanks in advance for the advice.
