WELCOME TO THE CASCADECLIMBERS.COM FORUMS   02/03/18

We have upgraded to new forum software as of late last year, and it makes everything here so much better!  It is now much easier to do pretty much anything, including write Trip Reports, sell gear, schedule climbing related events, and more. There is a new reputation system that allows for positive contributors to be recognized,  it is possible to tag content with identifiers, drag and drop in images, and it is much easier to embed multimedia content from Youtube, Vimeo, and more.  In all, the site is much more user friendly, bug free, and feature rich!   Whether you're a new user or a grizzled cascadeclimbers.com veteran, we think you'll love the new forums. Enjoy!

Hi Folks,

This is just a warning that we will be upgrading the Photo Gallery in the next week, so there is the possibility of some downtime and funkiness, but not very likely.

I'm going to be putting out a survey here soon, but it would help out if people would answer some of these questions in the time being. We are running into a disk space crunch here and are trying to figure out what the best course of action is here.

As long as you're updating, can you do something about the dark gray background? Makes it hard to read the text and it just doesn't jive with the rest of the site. Overall, tho, I think the photo gallery is one of the best features of cc.com! cool.gif

I think it depends on what style sheet you have selected for the website, because it looks the same to me???

Things I'd like to be able to do in the gallery:

1. edit posts below a picture

2. vote anonymously (i.e., not have a blank post below just because I voted)

3. mass uploading (or at least up to, say, five photos at once).

Number three is now taken care of.

Hooray! Thanks Jon! rockband.gif

I just used the new feature and it worked perfectly! I agree with Kinky that it would be nice to be able to edit photo comments.

I link stuff already on cc.com from my webpage sometimes, but I never upload a picture to cc.com myself in order to link it, just to save space on my page. That would be very impolite! frown.gif

ya damn right! but I got news for ya, the more sportclimbing I do the less pictures I take. So find me a good sport climbing bud and there will be a lack of bouldering shots.

shocked.gif shock horror shocked.gif don't you know that sport climbs are LONGER than boulder problems and require even more photos to provide move by move beta?????
