Dru Posted April 12, 2004 Share Posted April 12, 2004 Avalanche Activity: On Thursday in the Spearhead Range, a cornice triggered by a person standing on it, left them hanging onto rocks at the top of the ridge. Two people in the runout zone dodged large chunks. Wet loose snow avalanches are reported on sunny steeper slopes after the crust melts. Alex Posted April 13, 2004 Share Posted April 13, 2004 There was an enormous cornice collapse onto the Tremor Glacier along the high traverse on to the glacier from Pattison.
