AaronB
Sorry for bugging all you guys for a climbing trip. I just bought cheap tickets to Mexico City. Doing Pico De Orizaba. I'm leaving a week from today. Anyone been there? Have any beta? Want to play frisbe at the summit?
catbirdseat
Be sure to bring the special High Lift Frisbee, since the air is so thin up there. Otherwise, it would be more like throwing a discus back and forth.

Rodchester
Its pretty straight forward climb, assuming you'll be doing the main route. Almost no crevasses. I wouldn't even take a rope. I enjoyed the trip. You going to do Ixta also?
Terminal_Gravity
Believe it or not, Orizaba has a much smaller summit than just about all of the cascades. The colandria (sp?) is very dramatic and steep. You can't tell until you are very close to the summit rim. You probably would lose your frisbee. I highly recommend the SW side. Crazy as it sounds I have acctually punched into a cravasse on Orizaba...clear up to my crotch. It was about 18" wide and about 20 feet deep.
