WELCOME TO THE CASCADECLIMBERS.COM FORUMS   02/03/18

We have upgraded to new forum software as of late last year, and it makes everything here so much better!  It is now much easier to do pretty much anything, including write Trip Reports, sell gear, schedule climbing related events, and more. There is a new reputation system that allows for positive contributors to be recognized,  it is possible to tag content with identifiers, drag and drop in images, and it is much easier to embed multimedia content from Youtube, Vimeo, and more.  In all, the site is much more user friendly, bug free, and feature rich!   Whether you're a new user or a grizzled cascadeclimbers.com veteran, we think you'll love the new forums. Enjoy!

"Mommy, that man ruined my line..."

Recommended Posts

Here here.

My favorite all time footage of someone sliding down snow was of that cute Alaska girl ripin down the face of some huge deathzone dodging avalanches like she was waterskiing on glass.

Very well stated Dave.

I have no gripe with skiiers or boarders with good manners and having a set of balls. The boarders and skiiers with balls, beginner, intermediate or expert at least try to do the line in style. Its the timid beginner and flailing intermediate of both species that causes one to check his or her nerves and mouth so one does not enter into a pugilistic event for the get go.

It's the hot-dogging assholes who are going way too fast on intermediate slopes, putting my kids at risk, that put me close to going medieval... boxing_smiley.gif
