iain Posted January 20, 2004 Share Posted January 20, 2004 A quality alpine ski. For touring, something light. For ripping, something heavier. I have found the Atomic R:ex fits most of what I do. It is light for an alpine ski but heavy for a traditional touring ski. It has a foam core so it will break down over time. Just depends on what you want to do with it.
