Everytime I surf by or even push the back button I have to close the "advertisement" window. I really want to surf by more often but will not until the window is disabled. I'll be honest and say I don't really like them either, but it was a whole lot easier for me to do at midnight than incorporate the ad into the page. They aren't paying us to put it there either, I did it as a nice gesture in hopes that if this went well they could host other well known climbers as well. Also, one of the guys in the club has offered to help us with the website. On a lighter side, I had to go to a porn site to look at the coding for how to do a popup. highclimb Posted March 6, 2001 Share Posted March 6, 2001 jon, if you would check the times of the posts they are all after 4:00. they might be working, they might not be, so you shouldn't jump to conclusions. they didnt mean to put you down they just dont want another advertisment to be put on the site when another slide show rolls into town. i also agree is was annoying and would prefer if no one puts another ad on in the future. Does anyone have any suggestions how they might at least cover their costs if not make a buck or two for all their effort.
