Here's what she emailed me: We just got a bunch of jobs in CA..know any tower climbers? We need about 20 people by Monday. I know a guy who did "roped access" work locally, which I think amounted to some kind of maintenance or window cleaning on the side of Seattle skyscrapers. He enjoyed both the work and the compensation, especially because he claimed to be able to perform the routines without having to change his morning rituals (coffee, nicotine, and whatever else).
