WELCOME TO THE CASCADECLIMBERS.COM FORUMS   02/03/18

We have upgraded to new forum software as of late last year, and it makes everything here so much better!  It is now much easier to do pretty much anything, including write Trip Reports, sell gear, schedule climbing related events, and more. There is a new reputation system that allows for positive contributors to be recognized,  it is possible to tag content with identifiers, drag and drop in images, and it is much easier to embed multimedia content from Youtube, Vimeo, and more.  In all, the site is much more user friendly, bug free, and feature rich!   Whether you're a new user or a grizzled cascadeclimbers.com veteran, we think you'll love the new forums. Enjoy!

SCENIC HOT SPRINGS

Recommended Posts

Has anyone been up to the site? I'm curious about what they did up there. Did they tear everything out and leave debris? Is it all gone and site restored to natural?

Is the lobster pot really gone? mad.gif" border="0mad.gif" border="0mad.gif" border="0

Scenic was completely destroyed in early November. The wreckage has not been removed at all, the irony being the main reason the spring was removed was due to the environmental hazzard the pit toilet posed to the river below (resulting in big fines for the owner).

What the fuck! That was a hot spring...looks more like a house caught in a tornado. So the toilet was bad for the river, but all that other crap just lying around is ok. Thats lame... confused.gif" border="0
