WELCOME TO THE CASCADECLIMBERS.COM FORUMS   02/03/18

We have upgraded to new forum software as of late last year, and it makes everything here so much better!  It is now much easier to do pretty much anything, including write Trip Reports, sell gear, schedule climbing related events, and more. There is a new reputation system that allows for positive contributors to be recognized,  it is possible to tag content with identifiers, drag and drop in images, and it is much easier to embed multimedia content from Youtube, Vimeo, and more.  In all, the site is much more user friendly, bug free, and feature rich!   Whether you're a new user or a grizzled cascadeclimbers.com veteran, we think you'll love the new forums. Enjoy!

RBW, ETA on Friday?

Night.

I can't be any more specific than that because there are just too many complicating factors. I'm hoping to be there by 9 p.m. but it all depends on how many times I have to pull over to refill my cup.

You'll have to take a number for that honor.

Steve,

I am leaving PDX Friday morning and can fit a barrel or two in my truck, this would ensure that Rob will not consume the majority of brew before he arrives, leaving little for the rest of us. I only have the groups best interests at heart.

erik--still confirming reservations for co-pilot. The current one wants to not only drink all the beer but drain my safety supplies as well. wazzup.gif

Chalk up one more who's willing to transport refreshment of the liquid variety from Portland to Smiffy on Friday night... although it sounds like there's already enough help. bigdrink.gif

I'd recommend an IV - saves all that messy drinking.

I tried that but every time I turn a corner it rips out--spilled beer is alcohol abuse.

"I say don't drink and drive

you might spill your drink

before you get behind the wheel

just stop and think

you can take your chances

but there's so much to lose

another bumpy road

and so much wasted booze!

I'm not so worried

'bout how many I kill

I'm much more concerned

with how much beer I spill!"

Does anyone have an extra ride from portland friday evening?

You're more than welcome to borrow Dr. Flash Amazing's bicycle. Just needs some air in the tires and you're set.

Half past five, I'm in the pub

Six o'clock it's home for grub

Eight o'clock its back to the bar

Fuck the walk, I'll take my car

(Knock it back, I'll have another one,

rinkin' and drivin' is so much fun. Knock it back

I'll have another one, drinkin' and drivin' is so much fun)

You, me, and the time to roam

Don't forget the highway code

Keep your head on, keep your cool

Must avoid the right phone pole

(Knock it back, I'll have another one,

rinkin' and drivin' is so much fun. Knock it back

I'll have another one, drinkin' and drivin' is so much fun)

In the motor, off you go

Not too fast and not too slow

See a spot and take your pick

Out of the car door to be sick.

Just fashion the tap like a camelback and have the hose running from the trunk over the fron seat and shoulder straight into your mouth!
