benman Posted November 26, 2001 Share Posted November 26, 2001 There is a cable spanning the river several hundred feet above the old bridge. It looks to be permanent. You can slackline (wear socks) or tyrolean (wear gloves). I think it's easier to wade the river when the flows are down which is most of the year. The cable was cold as was the river. You could also use the bridge at the Bend about a mile up river. We climbed at the Royal Columns on friday and it was perfect after the sun hit the west side around noon.
