WELCOME TO THE CASCADECLIMBERS.COM FORUMS   02/03/18

We have upgraded to new forum software as of late last year, and it makes everything here so much better!  It is now much easier to do pretty much anything, including write Trip Reports, sell gear, schedule climbing related events, and more. There is a new reputation system that allows for positive contributors to be recognized,  it is possible to tag content with identifiers, drag and drop in images, and it is much easier to embed multimedia content from Youtube, Vimeo, and more.  In all, the site is much more user friendly, bug free, and feature rich!   Whether you're a new user or a grizzled cascadeclimbers.com veteran, we think you'll love the new forums. Enjoy!

The Ultimate Backcountry Ski Sale

Recommended Posts

Mt Hood Meadows is having a great deal on alpine and backcountry gear. They have them sitting on a ski rack out by the lunch area. Usually the best selection is around noon, but I have found some real winners all day long.

are they gonna sell spam? rolleyes.gif

Although Cascade Crags is a nice place and all I do take this as spam, using 'Ultimate' really tops it off yelrotflmao.gif

For those that don't know Scott is selling CCrags gear on his personal website so that's why Dru refers to it as spam. hahaha.gif

It's still a good deal for folks who wanna buy stuff and save $$

BTW - the title for this forum is

"Local Gear Shops"

"Find out the scoop on all your local gear retailers... when the sales are going to happen, and what are the latest specials. "

I just bought a pair of Tua Nitrogens from REI marked down to $219 from 500 or so retail. I bet that's about wholesale or less grin.gif They had somewhat of a decent selection left but I think at this price they will go fast. The lady at the cash register said they had just been knocked down. ProSki has a sale on all their skis and probably bindings too.

30% off really isn't that much for an end of season sale. You can pick stuff up 50% or more if you just look around a bit.
