Much better than the 44 ozs. of gore jacket/pants I currently carry. Oh yeah, this stuff is dirt cheap... currently on sale for less than $150 U.S. Can anyone comment on the performance or fit? Dru Posted March 15, 2003 Share Posted March 15, 2003 also good for bushwacking and other slow moving wet activities where staying damp from sweat is better than getting soaked from cold rain water and muddy brush. i use em for fieldwork. dont feel like trashing my goretex also pretty good for "super light" summer rainwear that you carry but dont wear much, if you can't afford a $400 spendy Paclite shell that will get holes in it within a day of you wearing it.
