WELCOME TO THE CASCADECLIMBERS.COM FORUMS   02/03/18

We have upgraded to new forum software as of late last year, and it makes everything here so much better!  It is now much easier to do pretty much anything, including write Trip Reports, sell gear, schedule climbing related events, and more. There is a new reputation system that allows for positive contributors to be recognized,  it is possible to tag content with identifiers, drag and drop in images, and it is much easier to embed multimedia content from Youtube, Vimeo, and more.  In all, the site is much more user friendly, bug free, and feature rich!   Whether you're a new user or a grizzled cascadeclimbers.com veteran, we think you'll love the new forums. Enjoy!

I'll say. Timing is everything. It's whiteout or 40 degrees. Still haven't been to Bachelor when the summit chair is open.

Baker was skiable Sun a.m. 3/9. Just point the skis down hill in the fresh snow and hold, and hold, and hold. Grab other's tracks in the flats and off you go to the next steep!

Slight drizzle... So now two out of the three times I've been to Bachy it's been in the rain. The glades on the NW side rock though.

Whistler is suppose to get dumped on all weekend. Thinking about bagging sun peaks and going there instead. As icing, they are offering WA residents 52 CDN lift tickets all march long. woohoo!

and what is the name of that cheap kind of bunkhouse hostel place north of the Village? Thinking of running up there next week for a few turns if I can find lodging without compromising myself. blush.gif Alternately, anyone have a condo or anything they would like to lend me for a night or two? Be happy to leave you a couple of drawings or something nice as a payment. This has worked well lately...I have a laptop and some new dental work I got this way.

I got an email...then i signed up on the web site, but can't find it now. they assign you a code and then you need your WA driver's license (which I still need to get). Here's the number from the bottom of the confirmation email.. let me know what they tell you:

If you have any questions regarding this offer, please contact the Whistler Blackcomb Reservation Centre at 1-800-766-0449.
