gapertimmy Posted March 5, 2003 Share Posted March 5, 2003 gapertimmy gets to act all high society and shit. the boss comes into my office yesterday and asks me if i want to go to a RESORT AUTOMATION CONFERENCE.... i'm thinking free booze, free skiing, and bling bling. holding back my excitement i said "sure". anyhow, so the thing is at Beaver Creek. Never been to CO before but the trail map of the resort doesn't look like anything exciting. If a guy were to skip out for one day, which lift serviced resort would be the one to ride at? regardless, i somehow managed to convince him that i should stop in slc on the way home so i get to "tour" the resort automation at PCity. A Basin rules Aspen mountain is good Sunlight, near Glenwood Springs might be good though I've never been there. Be warned though, CO has been having a dry warm winter. All the areas may suck. Also CO snow base is always low. I would think seriously about renting skis instead of trashing your own set. I think A Basin would be your best bet. Polli lift rules. I also laughed my ass off when they all celebrated getting a 3 inch *dump* overnight.
