I used a pair of the bottoms over the last year. The only complaint I have is the durability. I might get one more season out of them until the backside wears out. Otherwise they have been great. They have been comfortable over a wide range of conditions, from a March climb of Castle and Pinnacle to summer time on Ingalls to alpine ice on Kyes in September. I keep warm enough at belays, but don’t overheat while climbing.

MTN H transition will pill and snag, drive you nuts because there are no stretch areas and it's a bitch to get over your head and you will feel like a hothouse tomato. The Zip T was offered to me as a superprodeal for about $40 and I couldn't justify it.

MEC version is cheaper if you really want one.
