  1. Alright, I'm selling a sweet backcountry and ski mountaineering set up. DPS Cassiar 95 Alchemist skis with Dynaft Superlight bindings. These skis are mounted for a 311mm boot sole length. The skins are customized Dynafit Speed Skins which are made by Pomoca and the connection is tip to tail allowing for a more secure skin for the long days in the mountains. These skis are in really good conditions and have a set of storage wax on them currently. Just need to be scrapped and then ready to go. Dimensions: 129/95/116 Radius: 18m@185cm Rocker: Freeride Rocker Ability Level: Ability Level 9 Construction: Full Sidewall It's no secret that, in the galaxy of acclaimed DPS men's big mountain skis, the Wailer family shines the brightest. And those skis have earned every bit of their legend. Here's something that isn't as well-known: for skiers that truly ski the whole mountain, spending at least as much time on the frontside as the backside, the Cassiar 95 is likely a better choice. Its 95mm waist is wide enough for all but the deepest days, while also delivering superior edge-to-edge quickness and carving precision on groomed snow. A flatter tail and subtler rocker than you'll find in the Wailer family lends additional stability and a higher speed limit. And you'll be hard-pressed to find a better companion for spring backcountry conditions. The DPS Cassiar 95: the connoisseur's all-mountain ski. Alchemist is the next step in the evolution of DPS's groundbreaking Pure3 carbon skis and the finest example of their relentless pursuit of innovation. The Alchemist construction uses vibration-tuned aerospace carbon and premium Aspen wood cores for a smoother ride and more progressive flex, without compromising the power and precision skiers have come to expect from DPS carbon skis. The end result is the ultimate piece of lightweight versatility.
  2. Prices include shipping from Idaho. OBO. Thanks for looking 1. Brand new in-box Tecnica ski touring boots. Never used...don't fit quite right. Seem awesome otherwise. $475 3. Brand new in-packaging BD Arc gloves, L. Just too big for me. $40
  3. 2019 Dakine Poacher 32L Used this pack for 1 tour last year, essentially brand new. I am selling it because I am 6'7" and the Poacher is not quite long enough in the torso for me. This is a fully featured touring backpack with dedicated avalanche tool pocket for quick access to shovel/probe. Also has strap systems for A-frame ski carry and diagonal ski carry, as well as fleece lined goggle pocket and a few others for energy bars/miscellaneous items to keep everything organized. This is a great pack ideal for day trips in the backcountry. This backpack retails for $185, so $100 is a great deal for a product with less than 6 hours of use on it. text 360 556-5922 - in Olympia
  4. Like new ski touring boots. I bought these 3 weeks ago and I skied in them twice but they are too small for me. They are crazy light and a rad boot for backcountry touring and ski mountaineering. Amazing walk mode and actually really stiff and decent on the decent too. I'll post a picture of the specifications of the boot. here are a few links to the boot - https://www.salomon.com/en-us/shop/product/s-lab-x-alp.html#color=10710https://sawtoothguides.com/2017/11/20/20172018-salomon-x-alp-ski-boot-review/I bought them for $899, so two uses cost me $200 haha but I need to sell them to buy a new pair so hey...The boots are 26.5 touring boots. Phone number is 5six2 three2one 8ninenine8shoot me a text and we can find a time for you to check out the boots. cheers! IMG_2189.heic
  5. Hi all, I am trying to find a trip report that was talked about here a while back. A bunch of guys stayed at a remote hut in Alaska for a week or two, and when their trip was about to end without an incident, they decided to try all the drugs they brought on themselves. I seem to remember that the TR was posted in several batches and possibly not on this site. Could you please help me find it? Thanks!
  6. [SOLD] I have a Black Diamond Mega Light pyramid tent for sale. Makes a great 4 season shelter - used it for ski touring and spring mountaineering. It has been babied by an ultra-light gear head. This tent is unique in that it has been professionally modified by Jared at Simply Light Designs, an designer and sewer of products made of silnylon, to include Lineloc 3's at each perimeter tie-out (8) and mid-panel tie-out (8) at each seam. The tent has already been seam sealed. I will include 8 three-foot lengths of premium Lawson Glowire cordage. I have had it for two winter seasons and have used it around 20 times. Works great. There is one tiny patch, from a tiny 3mm slice made when cutting off the dang tags before it ever left my living room. The patch is made of tenacious tape and silicone that has been on the entire life of the tent and still holding strong. In all this tent is great - I've used it as a kitchen/lounge and sat 16 people inside comfortably. I've used it at basecamps on Mt. Baker, Mt. Adams, and Mt. Rainier for climbs. I like the design so much I've upgraded to a HMG Ultamid 4 pyramid tent, therefore will let this one go to one lucky buyer. I'd rather not sell the carbon fiber pole, but will if you insist. $225 Shipped, available for pickup in Seattle. Photos on craigslist, but will post on this thread soon: https://seattle.craigslist.org/see/spo/d/seattle-black-diamond-mega-light-tent/6924875039.html And, yeah, I'm that guy trying to sell something on his first post. Haha.
  7. Skis: K2 Shuksanne, 167cm length, waxed, never used. Not once. Pristine showroom condition. Bindings: Fritschi Freeride Pro size small. Mounted to skis for the following boots, also never used. Boots: Garmont SheRide 4-buckle, DynaFit compatible, used a couple of times. Thermo-moldable liners. Mondo size 25.5 / US size 7.5 / Euro size 38 Black Diamond waterproof/breathable gauntlet gloves with removable fleece liners. Used on one (successful!) Rainier summit. Smith ski helmet (women's), size small, gunmetal gray, used on one trip (sorry, no photos of this) Prices: Whole shebang = $550. I'm willing to separate items. If sold individually I am asking: Skis + bindings = $400 Boots only = $120 Gloves = $30 Helmet = $30 This is an ideal ski setup for a woman looking to get into backcountry skiing. The skis are not the cutting edge of design or technology as they have been sitting in a closet for a few years, but they are ideally suited to snow conditions in the Cascades. Selling because of health reasons - my wife thought she was going to get back into skiing but the reality is her touring days are over. New this entire package was $1,750. Can meet downtown Seattle near the central public library weekdays during business hours, or weekends/evenings near the Mount Baker light rail station. Please include your name and phone number when you email me. Cash only in person. I don't circulate much round these parts anymore. Best bet is to email me directly: njbratton AT hotmail DOT com
