Used extensively by the climbing rangers on Rainier, the Volant Jacket is the Feathered Friends recommendation for Northwest summit attempts, chilly ascents in South America, smaller peaks in Alaska, and the lower Himalaya. Ideal For: Mountaineering, Winter Camping, Ice Climbing, General Cold Weather Use
  7. Classic trad climbing shoe from La Sportiva. Very little wear as can be seen by photo of toe rubber. They're a bit too big for me, but should work for a street shoe size 11 or even larger if you like a real tight fit. This shoe can be tough to find these days. Asking $70 o.b.o. Im located in Seattle.
  8. Various closet cleaning. Available for pickup in Portland, or we can work out shipping for rough cost. 1) Sportiva Katanas - men's 39.5 - used a couple of times, a little too narrow for me. Never used cause I couldn't get into the "touch" button. $10 Petzl Zipka (with retractable band that you can use to hitch it to things). Original 3 LED version from over 15 years ago! Let me know if you have any questions. Grivel 12 cm Helix ice screws (6). I used these screws for 1 to 2 seasons depending on the screw. They have seen some use and some have minor dings but all still place well and quickly. These screws are the easiest and fastest of all the brands I have used to place due to the way they cradle the hand. The metal is extremely solid and resists rust better than others as well. 1 of them will not have a tip protector. $25 per screw Black Diamond Express ice screws (2), 16cm. Used but in good shape. $25 per screw

  17. These boots are brand new in the box. I ordered them from a German website and they don't fit me, can't return them.
  18. Have a set of older Darts that don't fit my size 48 boots, looking for a set of long Petzl center bars to make them fit. They are the old side lock heels (which Petzl seemed to abandon rather rapidly) so if you have a set of 'normal' heels you want to sell with the center bars I would consider it. Otherwise I may just grind off the side lock tabs and put my Grivel heel levers on. Also looking for a set of G20 toe bails (no loop) or wide Grivel looped toe bails. The standard loop bails do not fit my size 48 feet. I know I can get some of this stuff new, but in general in life I try to get used items. I figure someone must have some well-worn 'pons that aren't much for climbing anymore but that the above parts are still usable. Feel free to text 774-two-five-three-2O64 if that's easier than the PM function on CC. Thanks!

Good condition, no patches or tears on the boat material. The inflatable backrest got caught on my PFD last time I used it and tore off one side, should be an easy repair. It has one small tear on the skirt that I patched, otherwise the skirt is n great shape. I lost a section of the skirt combing that I replaced with a section of tent pole, which works as if new. This boat does not have the TiZip that is currently offered, but can be retrofitted with one for 250-300 by Alpacka.
