  1. [quote Del ROCKS. That's a GREAT disc. Kid Koala Dan the Automator: Check out this other project by Dan the Automator: Lovage: Music to Make Love to Your Old Lady By It keeps me happy. I'm also grooving on Micheal Franti & Spearhead (Everybody deserves music). For those unfamiliar, it's the legitimate child of Barry White and Billy Bragg
  2. Cool. The next couple o' weekends I'll be heading down to Smith, and it'd be great if ya came along. I've been training hard, bouldering some sick shit, and I think I'm ready for the send of my futuristic project "Cinnamon Slabs." Its dope!

What the hell IS your avatar, Minx? I mean it see it, but I'm not sure what I'm seeing.
  4. Damn, IceGirl, you're planning way too far ahead. It's not even Friday yet!
  5. Nice TR, kids -and nice photos. What kinda camera ya got there, pax?
  6. You're prolly looking for the Petzl attache: http://www.rei.com/online/store/ProductDisplay?storeId=8000&catalogId=40000008000&productId=978&parent_category_rn=4500680 Available at both REI & Feathered Friends here in Seattle- shouldn't be too hard to get from AMH in Anchorage (do they have a Fairbanks store?) BD also makes the locking Positron biner.
  7. desperate to leave the city during weekdays. Aid, ice, alpine, crag, bc ski, hike up Si with a Mountie strapped to my back- I don't care. pm me with loving offers. The only catch is that I turn into a pumpkin at 3pm. The joy of working the swing shift.
  8. You've grown a lot since then. Now you're at least as big as TWO of Matt's feet.
  9. Sounds good- it sounds like this weeks PC will be at the College Inn (notice my subtle strong-arm tactics). I probably won't show 'til late.
  10. Lemme know about that spinner when you get back. Have fun!
  11. Yep, I think you do have my book. You better give it back, or I'll never learn to read.
  12. Ah, but Foxy, you neglect to savor the fact that WC has made a 'keylock' biner. What could be finer?
  13. Yeah, when the modle beinf, you know it's time to get a new belay device! I do hear a lot of people trash the Jaws, which baffles me. It's exactly the same as the ATC, unless you use the teeth, in which case it's similar to the ATC-XP. Whatever. If anyone else wants to unload those lousy Jaws, drop me a line; I use 'em for teaching newbie friends how to belay.
  14. Fine- I'll hook you up with the meds of your choice.
  15. My day-dreams have been filled with images of climbing clean rock in the sunshine lately. It's time for me to lay the groundwork for a cool vacation to someplace sunny, mellow, and relaxing. Lots of friends have gone to Krabi etal, and that sounds nice, but I was also curious about southern Europe. Anyone here have any experience or advice regarding climbing in Spain, Italy, or Greece? Specifically I was looking at Sardinia, Mallorca, Kalymnos, etc. It would be ideal to mix some longer routes (Dolomites) with some relaxing cragging on the beach. Anyone got stories to share?
  16. Ouch. Ouch. Mommy, make the bad thoughts go away!!!
  17. Cool. Thinker, you get the beer of your choice at the next Pub Club. Damn, this is why I love diversity of thought. It gets me schwag.
  18. The SBG is a piece of shit. Don't waste your time. The stem on the SBG is too short, causing way too much friction on the rope. However, I wouldn't sleep well if I didn't put in a plug for my favorite device, the Trango Jaws. Just like the ATC, with the option of additional friction if you're using skinny ropes.
  19. Public meeting to investigate the impact of the proposed NUSEL laboratories under Mt. Cashmere. Tuesday's meeting will host hydrogeologist Anne Udaloy as she lays out the potential impact of the NUSEL tunnels on Icicyle Valley's watershed. Check out this link for more info: Iciclevalley.org
  20. in extremis i just make a sticht plate setup out a an broken wine bottle and good sized bong.
