  1. Check out Mt Daniel on Saturday maybe. Could be a very long day though if there's much new snow to push around.
  2. Low miles, updated doubled spectra slings, trigger wires in perfect shape, nothing frayed. Sizes range approx. 1-3/16" to 3-3/8"
  3. Howdy Blaine, Sign me up; I'll take 1 each, #0.5 through #4 please. I can p/u in Seattle. Mark
  4. I don't know about the Couloirs specifically but the north side of Dragontail, the Gerber-Sink for example, is usually fantastic in April.
  5. A fun day during a raging winter storm is to haul up your sharps and head up that chimney. There are a couple places that require some pretty cool scratching around; and the gear is sufficient. Leave your pack on the ground though, it gets kinda tight in there.
  6. Yeah, just checked the temps at Tahquitz-- 40's & 50's. That just might register on the "What the hell are you trying to do to me" o-meter. Liking J-tree more and more...
  7. Looking for some low impact cragging for the girlfriend within a couple hours of San Diego... Thanks, and happy holidays y'all!
  8. 2 good picks, 3 new picks, all tuned up. I might have the leashes around somewhere if you want them. $280 or somesuch. Got any Nomics for sale anyone (either old style or new)?
  9. Howdy, I'd be very interested in one of the axes. I'll shoot you a pm...
  10. Way cool; thanks for the pics. Quite a wonderful place.
  11. "only" ha ha Si senor, wanna give it a go? (Not this weekend though...)
  12. 'Bout time those bolts got yanked. My 2 cents worth anyway.
  13. Hey Mike, I got our pin back from 10+ years ago or whenever the hell that was
  14. Very true This climb's been on my list for a while now, nice FA Jim! Did you guys enter the gully from the left or the right? Lower pitch and a half reaches normal east face ramp: 2nd pitch: 2nd pitch: Top of 3rd: Start of 4th (chimney): Rolf smoked the delicate cruxes of course!
  15. Sweet climb lads. Did it a bunch of summers ago and remember thinking it'd be a great climb in winter.
