  1. I'm considering heading up there tomorrow night to climb/ski it. Would leave Seattle around 6pm and be hiking by 9 or 10pm. Hope to summit before noon on thursday. If anyone is interested and capable of joining me let me know. An alternative would be Little T on thursday. I just can't let this good weather go to waste.
  2. The sight looks like it has a lot of potential. Right now it looks like more of a record than a resource though. I'd like to see some articles eventually. I just finished a ski website of my own. The address is http://students.washington.edu/benman I'd be willing to lay claim to the Northeast Face of Mount Gilbert (Goat Rocks). I'd also be interested to know if the NFNWR on Adams was skied in 1995 as you suggested. I skied it in 1999 and 2000. Anyway, check out my website. I think you might find some interesting stuff there. It started out as a project for an environmental class that I'm taking so pardon the simplicity. Check back soon because things are going down as we speak.
  3. Those two speedy sporty specks you refer to are my brother and I. Our round trip to the base of Echo Rock took about 5 hours, tennis shoes and camelbak. We went up there to check out the Mowich Face (which we plan on skiing next spring). We saw you guys on top and were wondering why you had ice axes. Now I understand. We also wished we had brought skis. While I'm on the Rainier message board... does anybody know if the Wilson Headwall has been skied? It looks totally doable in the spring, although I've yet to climb it.
