Mount Yoran is located in the Diamond Peak Wilderness. It is a volcanic remnant older than Diamond Peak itself, and is nestled to the NW. Two questions: 1) There are 2 peaks there - are they both considered Mount Yoran? and 2) where are the better routes on it? I tried the west peak, on the SE gully, which was class 4 choss until the ridge. Are there better routes to the north?
