I'm new to this forum. Although, I admit I've used this website several times to help me navigate different avenues of my mountaineering journey (routes, gear, blogs, etc). All of the information is much appreciated, and I'm very humbled by the amount of skill and expertise found on here. I started mountaineering a few years ago when a good friend of mine tricked me into climbing some mountains with him in CO. I thought we were just going hiking. He let me borrow some mountaineering boots and an ice axe, and I've been hooked every since. We've climbed some of the best mountains that WA and CO have to offer. I have recently gotten a few friends into mountaineering, and I put together a website so that we could plan and record our adventures.
