[Chair Peak - Found skis, boots, jacket, and pants]

Thanks for the responses. I am still befuddled by the idea of just stashing ski pants and a jacket outside for the winter, but it sounds like the mystery was indeed solved. I am glad that it was a boring story and nothing more.

I assume that this mystery has been solved, but while descending from Chair peak on Sunday, I found some relics of the 80s that are just emerging from the tongue of the snow field in the Chair Peak basin, just above the Thumbtack. There was a set of rusty broken 85 mm skis, ski boots, ski pants, and a ski jacket. Picture below. Please share the story if you know it?!
