  1. Would drive down from Olympia the morning of the 11, leave the night of the 14th or super early on the 15th. Would be happy to cover gas on the way down there and can pick you up so long as it's not significantly out of the way. I climb 5.11 sport, 5.9 or 10a trad. Mostly hoping to push the sport grade on this trip. -Chris
  2. I've climbed it before, taking girlfriend up there for her first significant multi experience. Hoping to find another couple interested in turning it into a walk off instead of rappels. (Can park a second car on the FS road at the top.) Plan would be to drive up the night before and camp, early start, and spend the last half day locally cragging.
  3. Partner cancelled (for valid reasons) last minute on me, we were going to do Outer Space tomorrow at Snowcreek wall. Would still be down for going to Leavenworth tomorrow, or Index or even just cragging more locally around Seattle. If you're looking for a last minute partner for any of the above, shoot me a text message. 248-860-6225/
  4. Looking for information on the road closure: http://www.wta.org/signpost/road-closures-on-the-middle-fork-snoqualmie Do you now, if so desired, could you hike (yeah 12 mile approach) or bike in? Has anyone been in there to investigate, see if access is still possible during the week (I'm one of those Sat-Mon work week kind of people? Thanks, Chris
  5. Not sure where you're at, but I'll be climbing at exit 38 tomorrow. Leaving Olympia around noon probably.
  6. Partner bailed for tomorrow and was hoping to go work a project at Nevermind wall. If you're interested in climbing, driving up from Olympia, would be willing to pick you up if it's on the way. Also, generally available to climb, Tuesday-Friday. Text me: 248-860-6225 -Chris
  7. Hey folks, Just moved to the area from the Michigan (climbing capital of the USA) and outside of work, don't really know a soul yet. Hoping to find some climbing partners in the area. Me: Confident on .10d/.11a sport but projecting higher, at least out East. Strong interest but limited trad experience. Not much of a boulder but have a big pad and am happy to play at being a boulder, especially now that there's so much around. My work schedule is a little goofy - Sat-Monday but that leaves the week days pretty much wide open. Feel free to email me baileyc132@gmail.com. -Chris
  8. http://www.mountainproject.com/v/prime-rib-of-goat/107730934 I'm visiting Portland for 3 weeks for work, have a 4 day weekend next week and it's 'close' enough that I think it'd be worth the trip. Me: Solid 5.10 leader, some multipitch experience (both trad and sport, not that it matters here) Have everything we'd need for the climb, except a partner. In terms of a partner, you'd have to be able to lead at least some of the pitches but I could do the 'harder' ones. Preferably we'd do it the 1st and climb together a little bit the day before. If you're on the way (or mostly on the way) I can pick you up or meet there. Feel free to contact me directly at baileyc132@gmail.com
