  1. I'm actually in Mukilteo for pick up, but come into Seattle a coup,e times a week.
  2. Silvretta 404 bindings mounted on useable but crappy old straight skis (scaled bottoms) $160 in Seattle I don't know the size if you know the size length I'll measure them and let you know I have a two sets. Edited to add One set 185s one set 195s Both binding look like they won't adjust smaller than about an 8.5 men's boot. (they are a little too big for my 7.5)
  3. I knew this site would come through! Even though I'm new here I could tell immediately that it's a community of people that actually help each other! A rare thing indeed in this world.
  4. I'm in Seattle. Would be happy to pay shipping!
  5. I'm hoping someone will have a pair of worn picks for the newer model quarks that I can make into foam wall picks that they are willing to part with. Thanks Greg
  6. Interested in N ridge of Baker or N face of Buckner
  7. Interested in Forbiden but a little under the weather so can't commit until I know how I'm going to feel.
  8. I'm a mid week climber, lead trad. I would probably be interested in some Leavenworth in October and a trip south in the winter. Most likely not for two weeks, but a week is easy.
  9. Yeah just laying stuff out, I have quite a bit, everything anyone needs to get started. I was planning on craigslisting them but especially since you climb with your family I'll pass the stuff on for real cheap. I only have real old school cams so I'd jump on the deal from the guy above me. I have a full complement of nuts and stoppers. Lots of carabiners also.
  10. Sucks, Start watching craigslist especially in other cites, even down to Portland. Might also be worth stopping at all the pawn shops with some pictures. Ive seen them con people into staying around or coming back for the manager to give them a better price so the cops have time to get there. Not all are that honest but it's worth a try. I also am passing on a bunch of older but useable gear for cheap, especially if you take a bunch. I'm in mukilteo so it will be an easy hook up. Sorry for your loss. Criminals suck.
  11. Prefer one long day but open to an overnight especially if we can climb more than one thing. Haven't been on either so it's a plus if you have as its easier to start in the dark if somebody knows where they are going! Im decently experienced, mountaineers intermediate, bunch on my own. This summer I've been up baker twice, rainier three times, shuksan once. Im in ok condition, not a sprinter but I can keep moving. I have all the gear. Not interested in teaching/guiding a newbie, prefer you have some formal climbing education. More experienced than me is great.
  12. I'd go with the cat pee neutralizer, you can never be too safe.
  13. As the title says: Anyone have room on their rope for rainier this sat/sun? Partner canceling at last minute. I have all my gear plus team equipment, 60m half rope, etc. Open to any moderate route. Basic bio: Been up DC once. Glacier peak, baker twice, mountaineers intermediate course plus some, WEMT. Decent shape.
