Jon I was up there this weekend and, as unlikely as it seems, I'm pretty sure I saw your shoe. It was a little ways beneath the col on the bench camp side. Unfortunately, I left it in its place thinking that it was meant to ooze its special climbing power to the whole valley. Good on ya for doing that whole route with only one climbing shoe!

Bad ass! Talked to Michal yesterday and he said you guys climbed the place out. Didn't realize until later that you guys literally climbed the place out! Very impressive!

Sunset at Pineapple Pass

I need money for graduate school so I have two sets of tools for sale. First set. Grivel Matrix Tech - $300. These tools are in nearly new condition. They've only gotten out a few times and the times they were out they never touched any rock. These are a solid tool for pure water-ice, mixed climbing and alpine. Second set. Custom Grivel X-monster - $225. These tools are sweet! One of my buddies is a custom knife maker. Him and I built custom upper handles for these tools (check the pictures!). The material we used for the handles is FR4 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FR-4. These things now mixed climb as well as any tool. I tuned the picks for better mixed climbing, but they still climb pure water ice really well. These should sell fast because they are totally awesome.

I am selling my Kayland Hyper Traction Mountaineering Boots. They are size 10.5. I bought them at the end of last ice season and they are in nearly new condition - only have been worn a few times out ice cragging (in Hyalite). The boots have 200g primaloft insulation (double around toes), eVent lining, and a built in gaiter. They are a very warm, completely waterproof, and breathable boot. I am selling them for $275. Boots are located in Seattle, but I can ship if need be.
